Great piece of reporting. The squeaking wheel gets the grease. Maybe we aren't squeaking enough. How about getting some of the high pofile entertainers who live in Tennessee to be put on the docket to plead our case with the legislators. Create a buzz!
I think that until whom ever is in place as Gov. along with the cabinet and house support, that's when change will occur. Changing attitudes is the key to successful sales. Start now and work both sides of the ticket to change thinking in the minds of the new slate, all we can do is go up, nothing to loose.
Good report. I feel for Memphis. It's a real slap when you lose a production, that has "Memphis" in the title, to GA. or LA. Bottom line - waaaay deep- bottom line - is you must have a Governor that CARES about the issue or it will never happen, to the satisfaction of Hollywood or our production community. A GOVERNOR WHO CARES! Period.
The state had a chance but has lost a considerable amount of momentum while states around us have fluorished with production.
It's an epic struggle.
